Full container FCL cargo delivery

Container shipping by sea is the most common option for intercontinental cargo delivery. It is reliable and cost-effective and is especially suitable when the delivery time of the cargo is not critical. When delivering cargo in sea containers (FCL), the entire container is intended for one shipper and is loaded at the shipper's warehouse as standard.

Container types

The most commonly used containers are the following types: 20-foot and 40-foot.

Containers also differ in design.:

• Dry Storage containers 20DC, 40DC, 40HC
• Open top containers
• Flat rack container with no top and only two sides (for heavy loads)
• Open side storage container
• Refrigerated ISO containers, for the transportation of temperature-sensitive cargo
• ISO Tanks are designed to transport liquids, liquefied gases and a number of bulk products. A tank container is a container consisting of a frame (frame elements) and a cistern equipped with drain fittings and devices for unloading both under gravity and under pressure.
• Half height containers, used especially for good like coal, stones etc
