LCL container shipping

Delivery of cargo from 1m3 to 20m3.
Consolidated cargo is transported in a common container, consolidated in a warehouse in the country of departure with your other cargo or cargo of other clients.
It is considered the most economical way to deliver small consignments of goods.
Consolidated cargo is a consignment that is insufficient to fully load a container.

When sending a consolidated cargo, you pay for the delivery of this cargo in a container together with other shippers.
If your cargo lot is so small that it is not enough to fully load a 20-foot container, then LCL transportation is the most reasonable option in terms of cost and convenience.
ATTENTION: you need to understand that both in the country of departure and in the country of receipt, there will be additional warehouse costs of the line agent.
But when transporting a consolidated cargo, you do not need to worry about returning the container after its delivery, the line also takes care of this.

There are also two ways to deliver prefabricated containers:

  • Delivery by sea
  • Delivery by rail

Calculation of cargo weight

For container shipping (LCL):
1 m³ = 1000 kg
Sea freight costs are calculated based on the larger of the two parameters (volumetric weight or gross weight)
